Anthony D'Souza (Tony), the director of Blue, is putting together India’s first major disaster movie, in 3-D, titled Chaand.
Though the film will only start sometime next year, he has already cut a three-minute promo to show the industry what he has in store. For the first time in a Hindi film, Mumbai will be under attack from aliens. The jaw-dropping promo features various Mumbai landmarks like the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, the Worli-Bandra Sealink, Ballard Pier, Rajabai Tower and other places being attacked by aliens.

Studio heads and actors who have seen the promo are already blown away by the impact of the visuals. It’s an expensive film and because it will be 3-D, it will take over a year just for pre-production. Some top actors have shown keen interest to be a part of it.
But Tony is holding on to the production now as he first wants to start his commercial, masala entertainer with an A-league star.
