My film’s a romantic entertainer: Siddharth
“Anjaana Anjaani is a zingy romantic entertainer. After Salaam Namaste I wanted to make a film that is cool and contemporary. And Sajid Nadiadwala helped me to realise my dream. It essentially comes from Kapoor. I’ve known him since he was in his diapers and have ragged him all my life since he is younger than me. I did not think that I would respect him this much since he’s like a younger brother... but today he has earned my respect with his immense talent. When it comes to Priyanka Chopra, Siddharth says, “PC’s involvement goes beyond her role. She and I hit it off right from the narration; we’re also both great foodies. One thing that all the directors who have worked with PC will say is that she is really addictive to work with. She becomes the backbone of the project. You can rely on her for everything.”
