Nandish Singh Sandhu’s look in ‘Super 30’ will surprise you

Check it out
Much has been written and spoken about Hrithik Roshan’s look in his latest release, ‘

Super 30

’. The actor, who plays mathematician Anand Kumar in the Vikas Bahl-directorial, has gone totally de-glam to do justice to the part.

However, it’s not only Hrithik, who has undergone a major change in his look. Actor Nandish Singh Sandhu, who became popular with the TV show ‘

Uttaran

’, has also gone de-glam for ‘Super 30’. Nandish, who marked his

Bollywood

debut with the film, plays Anand’s (Hrithik) brother Pranav Kumar.

While most actors would be image conscious, especially when it comes to their debut, Nandish wasn’t apprehensive about getting stereotyped. A daily quoted a source as saying that the creative team had to try multiple times before getting the actor’s look right.

Some time ago, Nandish had talked to Bombay Times about his first day of shoot. He had said, “I don’t think too many actors land a chance to debut with a biopic. On the first day of shoot, I was a bundle of nerves, though I had acted for seven years before that. Thanks to my experience on the small screen, I knew camera angles, lighting, and other nitty-gritties. On Day 1, I had a solo scene, which was a mela sequence. I blocked everything out of my head, so that I could stay in character until pack-up. I didn’t eat and I didn’t talk to anyone. At pack-up, it dawned upon me that my journey in Bollywood has finally begun.”
