Neelam recalled moments in public where people would ask if she was "Neelam the actress," and she had to deny it, which deeply affected her. She became emotional, questioning why she allowed such changes in her life. Eventually, she decided to move back to India. Neelam also revealed that her daughter Ahana discovered her divorce online, which left her devastated. Neelam expressed that this was not how she wanted her daughter to learn about her past.

Neelam was a famous actress in the 1990s, known for her work with stars like Govinda. After her divorce from Rishi Sethia, she moved back to India and married Sameer Soni. Now, she is trying to make a comeback in Bollywood with new roles.
