Neena Gupta beams with joy as she shares first pic with granddaughter

Neena Gupta has an obvious reason to beam with joy as she is embraced the new role of a grandmother.

Sharing the first picture of her newborn granddaughter on Instagram, Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Misra's little princess, the veteran actress, took to social media in order to share happiness with her instafam.

In the heartwarming photo, Neena is seen embracing her granddaughter fondly. She captioned that moment as, "Meri beti ki beti – Rab rakha", which she means, "My daughter's daughter. May God protect us."

The post elicited a wave of love from her friends and fans alike. The ‘Sita Ramam’ actress Mrunal Thakur wrote, "Aww, congratulations." Actress Rakul Preet commented, "Congratulationssssssss god bless the baby girl." Dia Mirza commented with a heart emoji. The little girl arrived on October 11, marking the special joyous occasion of Durga Ashtami for the family. Masaba Gupta and Satyadeep Misra had announced the arrival of their daughter on Saturday night with an Instagram post. Sharing a sweet image of the baby's feet, Masaba wrote, "Our very special little girl arrived on a very special day," along with the date of the birth. The couple's fans and friends from the entertainment industry showered them with warm wishes.

Professionally, Neena Gupta has in store an interesting project. She will be seen in the Malayalam thriller series ‘1000 Babies’ where she will star with renowned Mollywood actor Rahman.
