Nil Battey Sannata & Jolly LLB 2 granted subsidy by UP Film Bandhu

UP Film Bandhu

has cleared 12 films, including Nil Battey Sannata, Jolly LLB 2, JD, NH-8 Road to Nidhivan, Yeh Mohabbatein, 30 Minutes and Pranam, among others, for the subsidy. The films were cleared by both the script and the finance committees of the Film Bandhu and their producers will also be given cheques for the amount cleared, soon. All these 12 films have been shot in the state and as per the state government’s film policy, are eligible for subsidy granted by the UP government.
"The papers submitted to the UP Film Bandhu of these films were found to be complete and hence were cleared for subsidy by the members of the script and the finance committees," informs

, Joint Secretary, Film Bandhu. "The script committee has also cleared the scripts of 33 films, including those of Mom, Toilet Ek Prem Katha, Love In Heaven, Ganda Bachcha, among others. Now their papers will be sent to the finance committee to decide upon the subsidy," informs Sahgal.
With more points added to the UP Film Policy for film subsidy, the Film Bandhu will also be forwarding scripts of more than two dozen films to the script committee for clearance for the subsidy.
