A couple of days ago, ETimes had informed you that producer Ekta Kapoor and filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee were gearing up to announce the next installment of their 2010 cult film Love Sex aur Dhokha. It is now being said that TV actress Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia has been roped in to play an important role in Love Sex aur Dhokha 2.
According to the reports, Ekta Kapoor will be entering the Salman Khan hosted reality TV show to sign Nimrit for the second installment of LSD. The movie will mark Nimrit's debut in the Hindi film industry. One of the stories in the film's anthology is based on a reality show and Nimrit will be seen playing a significant role in the film.
Many years ago, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt had appeared on the reality TV show and signed Sunny Leone for Jism 2. Before participating on the popular reality TV show, Nimrit has proved her mettle in her TV show called Choti Sarrdaarni.
Love Sex Aur Dhokha had launched some of the new faces such as Rajkummar Rao, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Anshuman Jha and others. It remains to be seen if LSD 2 will also feature new talents in the industry and give them a significant platform to grow their acting careers.
