Talking to Free Press Journal, Goel revealed that the most overwhelming compliment came from none other than Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon. The two met at an award function, and Goel, who admires Sanon, found herself in awe of the opportunity to meet the actress. As she nervously rehearsed in her mind how to approach Sanon, she was taken by surprise when Sanon approached her first. Kriti Sanon, known for her roles in films like 'Do Patti', told Goel, “She told me, ‘Nitanshi, I see little Kriti in you. I see the younger version of myself in you. And I wish to see you work in really good films. I wish to see you kill it on screen.’ I was so overwhelmed when she said that. It was such a huge moment for me," Goel was visibly moved by the compliment, describing it as a "huge moment" for her.

Goel also recalled one of her most memorable experiences on the set of 'Laapataa Ladies'. The emotional moment came when her character, Phool, boarded the train and bid goodbye to her friends at the railway station. “I actually started crying, because after shooting with the team for over a month, it felt like I was saying goodbye to them in real. I was crying, the entire set was crying, all of us were just too emotional!" she said. A befitting goodbye was written to bring to a halt the incredible journey for all Goel and the remaining crew members involved.

Kiran Rao and Aamir Khan in collaboration made this 'Laapataa Ladies'. This new-flick film tells two newly wed women accidentally being replaced through their train journey along with hilarious social issues and concerns. It features stars Pratibha Ranta, Sparsh Shrivastava, Chhaya Kadam, and Ravi Kishan among others. It won the Best Film (Critics' Choice) award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne and was selected as India's entry for Best International Feature Film at the 97th Academy Awards, though it did not get a nomination.
