Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal starrer film 'Raazi' has completed a year today. This was the first time Alia and Vicky worked together. The film received heaps of praise for almost everything aspect.
Helmed by Meghna Gulzar, the film also stars Rajit Kapur, Shishir Sharma and Jaideep Ahlawat. The film is an adaption of a novel 'Calling Sehmat' which is a true account of a RAW agent.

Helmed by Meghna Gulzar, starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, the film 'Raazi' entered the 100 crore club and it didn't stop there.
Word of mouth was the main reason behind this. All the actors of the film put forth their best in 'Raazi' and the result was in their favour.
On day one, the film collected Rs 7.53 crores and within weeks it crossed the 100 crore mark. Talking about the film, the director had said, "Sensibilities are very different from what we know today. Even the patriotism as it is in the film is very different from what we know of patriotism today. And that is where the magic of cinema comes in where we all come together and create that world, pull you into it and convince you that now you are in this world too. All the departments of the film pull together to make that world a reality and that is exactly what shows in the film".
When Amul paid tribute to 'Raazi in their own style
'Raazi' even impressed the iconic Amul girl with stellar performances. Amul paid a tribute to the film in a sketch where the girl is seen in a way similar to Alia Bhatt's character Sehmat in the film along with a bread and butter knife in her hand.

Alia Bhatt already received love from the audience for 'Raazi' and the box office collection was proof the same. And when she won in the category of Best Actress at 64th Vimal Elaichi Filmfare Awards for her role in 'Raazi', it gave an official recognition for what she delivered in the film.
Alia was elated to receive the award at the event. She thanked everyone for the success of the film.
Letter for the director, Megna Gulzar
After receiving the Best Actress Award at Filmfare 2019 for her role in 'Raazi', Alia Bhatt penned down a letter for her director Meghna Gulzar. The actress expressed her gratitude towards the director for the win. In the post shared on Instagram, Alia wrote, "A big feeling I have been feeling off late is gratitude..
