Parineeti Chopra opens up about postpartum phase; Morning routine keeps her calm; says 'Ignore your phone'
Parineeti Chopra has opened up about her life after becoming a mother. The actress shared that she has completed two months postpartum and is slowly finding her balance.
Why she avoids her phone in the morning
Parineeti spoke about a habit many people follow every day. She said most people start their morning by checking their phones, but she feels it is harmful. “The worst habit is that they start scrolling as soon as they wake up. That makes your mind almost numb. And your whole day can be disturbed,” she said. She shared that she avoids touching her phone after waking up. Instead, she gives herself quiet time. “If you wake up in the morning and ignore your phone, get bored for an hour, sit, listen to music, go in nature, and listen to the birds, it helps you keep calm,” she added.
Mantras and a calm start to the day
Chanting is a big part of Parineeti’s daily routine. She shared that it helps her begin her day in a peaceful way. “Chant some mantras. That’s what I do. I chant Hanuman Chalisa as soon as I wake up in the morning. Or I chant Namami Shamisham. And that’s how I like to start my day,” she said. She believes that when the day starts well, everything feels manageable. “So I feel that whatever happens in the day, positive or negative, you can control its reaction. Because you are in a good state,” she explained. Adding some humor, she said mornings should feel special. “It should be like when I get out of my bed. It should be a shot of a heroine. I get out of my bed in slow motion.”
Health, happiness and new mom moments
Parineeti shared that her thinking has changed as she has grown older. “Life should be like this. I have realized as I am growing older. Mindset is everything. How you react to everything. What perception you have. That is the most important thing,” she said. She also said her focus is now clear. “The most important thing is my health, my fitness, and my mental health for myself,” she added. She feels she understands herself better now. “Now I have understood what I like, what I like to do, what I want to eat, how I want to eat, and when I want to sleep.”
Recently, she shared a funny Instagram reel and wrote, “Took out time to organise my storage today, got distracted and did absolutely nothing. Confirmed symptoms of a postpartum gal."
