Parineeti Chopra praises husband Raghav Chadha for solving the airport food price issue: 'Your voice has brought a real change'

Parineeti Chopra and her husband, politician Raghav Chadha have always been supportive of each other. Recently, Raghav spoke in Parliament about the high prices of food at airports, which led to the launch of the Udaan Yatri Cafe by the Civil Aviation Ministry. This initiative aims to provide affordable food for travelers. Parineeti praised Raghav for addressing an issue and bringing to the change.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Parineeti Chopra wrote, “So so proud of you, my @raghav_chadha, for being a true leader for the people and fixing a real problem!”



She added, “Overpriced food at airports is an issue that resonates with so many Indians (including us), and your voice has brought a real change starting with the #UdaanYatriCafe. Yayy for cheaper food and drinks at airports!”

The 'Ishaqzaade' expressed her pride in her husband, Raghav Chadha, by tweeting, “Proud of you, my Ragaii!” Her post comes just ahead of the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections on February 5.

Last December, Raghav Chadha raised concerns in Parliament about expensive food and drinks at airports. He highlighted how passengers have to pay high prices for basic items like water, tea, and snacks. He asked why there couldn’t be affordable canteens at airports when water costs Rs 100 and tea Rs 200-250.

To address these concerns, the government launched the Udaan Yatri Cafe, starting at Kolkata's Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport. This cafe offers affordable water, tea, coffee, and snacks for travelers.

Parineeti and Raghav tied the knot on September 24, 2023, in a beautiful wedding in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The ceremony was attended by close family, friends, and well-known personalities from politics and the entertainment industry.
