Parth Samthaan reveals he was initially 'intimidated' by Sanjay Dutt's demeanour: ‘The bhai character is pretty much what he is known for’

Parth Samthaan, who is known for his roles in popular TV shows like ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan’ and ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’, talked about working with Sanjay Dutt in his debut Bollywood film 'Ghudchadi'. The actor reminisced about his initial shoot days with Sanjay and mentioned how much his presence inspired him.

During an interview with IndiaToday.in, Parth revealed his thoughts and experiences of working with Sanjay Dutt. He shared, "In the beginning, I was very intimidated by his personality because obviously, we have grown up watching him through different kinds of characters and cinemas, and of course, the bhai character is pretty much what he is known for. So yeah, it was very intimidating.”

The actor further added that when one engages in conversation with Sanjay Dutt, he displays a stark contrast. He exudes humility, groundedness, and a soft-spoken demeanour. He serves as a true inspiration. He recalled his first scene with the actor. Initially feeling anxious and stressed, he was advised to come prepared on the set. He said he made sure to be well-prepared and eventually he did very well.

Parth emphasised how inspiring and educational Sanjay's presence on the sets was for him. He stated, "I learned how to be fit. By the time I reach his age someday, I would like to very much see myself like him. That is for sure. He's an inspiration when it comes to fitness because he started that trend.”

Sanjay also said one should never judge a book by its cover. He shared, “Apart from that, the kind of human he is, no matter how your personality is, you should never judge a book by its cover. He has so many layers, and all the experiences in his life, good, bad, everything, but he's still standing strong. That's one thing, I think a lot of people take away from him.”

Directed by Binoy Gandhi, 'Ghudchadi' stars Sanjay Dutt, Parth Samthaan, Raveena Tandon and Khushalii Kumar. The film is set to hit the theatres on August 9.
