Patralekhaa began her acting journey in 2014 with the drama 'CityLights' and later appeared in the digital miniseries 'Bose: Dead/Alive' in 2017. Recently, she has been seen in 'IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack'. In a recent interview, Patralekhaa humorously recounted an unexpected trip with her husband Rajkummar Rao and opened up about embracing a simple, middle-class lifestyle together.
Taking Charge of Vacation Plans
In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Patralekhaa revealed that she takes charge of planning vacations between her and Rao. She explained, “I like making plans. I’m the one who handles holiday planning and dinner reservations-100%!” Although Rajkummar enjoys these activities, he often lacks the time to organize them. She shared how, when he suggested a trip to Japan, he left the details up to her, saying, “You figure it out when we get there.” This playful dynamic highlights how Patralekhaa manages the logistics while Rajkummar brings the spontaneous spirit to their travels.
A Spontaneous European Adventure
She shared that during a European trip they took together, they didn’t book any hotels in advance. While traveling on a train, they struggled to find available rooms due to the peak winter vacation season. Eventually, they managed to find a guesthouse in a remote location. She described the experience as fun and sometimes quite crazy.
Embracing a Middle-Class Lifestyle
The actress admits that they lead a middle-class lifestyle at heart. She explained that both she and Rajkummar live simply, often unaware of their own status. She shared, “Raj throws my toothpaste away randomly, and I still call up my bhaajiwala and say, ‘Bhaiya 10 rupay kam kardo.’” She also mentioned how her mother still visits their home and lovingly reminds them to be grateful and thankful, reflecting their grounded and humble way of life.
