Pihu Sand. And the actor addresses birthday girl Bhumi Pednekar as her inspiration for her debut film.
Pihu, who is geared up for her debut gained about 20 kgs for her role, similar to Bhumi Pednekar, who gained weight for her debut film ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’.
Pihu professed, “When I saw ‘Dum Laga Ke Haisha’, I saw how heavy she was in the film but over and above that she did such a good job as an actress! She gained weight for what she loved and yes that inspired me! I did the same because I love what I was going to do in ‘Fanney Khan’! Happiest birthday Bhumi!"
Pihu Sand will essay the role of Lata Sharma, a 20-year-old in ‘Fanney Khan’ and she has turned heaviest that she has ever been for the role. The musical entertainer features the actress as a young girl who dreams of becoming a star performer while battling fat shaming.
‘Fanney Khan’ is slated to release on 3rd August 2018.
