Pooja Bhatt responds to Rahul Bhatt’s 'better than Alia Bhatt' remark, calls her an ‘upgraded model’: ‘Raha is born to be an actress’

Pooja Bhatt has reacted to brother Rahul Bhatt’s recent remark comparing her to Alia Bhatt. While Rahul had claimed that Pooja was “better” than Alia, the actor-filmmaker clarified that the two belong to different generations and have approached the industry in very different ways.Speaking about the comparison, Pooja said she has already had her phase in the spotlight and now it is Alia’s time to shine.“I have had my time. This is her time, and she has certain attributes, and she has a certain way of navigating this business that I didn’t have,” Pooja shared during an interaction with Vickey Lalwani.Praising Alia’s professional choices and work ethic, Pooja said the actor has handled her career with remarkable intelligence.“She is very astute. That game you are meant to play, she knows how to play it, and she does it marvellously,” she said.Pooja further added, “I am talking about the choices she has made as an actor, the filmmakers she has chosen to work with, the hours that she puts in with regard to rehearsals.”Over the years, Alia has built a successful filmography with movies like Raazi, Highway, Udta Punjab and Gangubai Kathiawadi, earning both commercial success and critical acclaim.While talking about her sister’s success, Pooja made an interesting analogy and described Alia as an “upgraded model”.“When you buy a new phone, you upgrade to a phone with more features. So I would like to believe that she is an upgraded model,” she said.Pooja also praised little Raha Kapoor and said the toddler already has the qualities of a future star.“There will be an even more upgraded model with her daughter when she decides to become an actress. I think she is born to be one. Unless she becomes a NASA scientist... I don’t know,” Pooja said.She added, “If you look at that child, she is riveting, and look at the genes. There’s a spark. When she walks into a room, everybody pales in comparison. Your eye only wants to rest on her.”On the work front, Alia is awaiting the release of Alpha, directed by Shiv Rawail. The film also stars Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor.The actress will also be seen in Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
