’, Pooja Hegde reached out to her 7.6 million followers on Instagram, sharing a series of “festive and fresh” pictures. The model and actress, who is predominantly seen in south films, posed in an intricately embroidered yellow lehega with gold and white jhumkas that perfectly complemented her celebratory look.

“Diwali Special for #Housefull4 promotions,” read the caption of one post, and “Smile.Sparkle.Shine” said the other post. Here are the pictures!




Earlier, during an interview with Delhi Times, Pooja said, “After ‘Mohenjo Daro’ (2016), I was offered so many films, but I didn’t want to do them. Among others, my manager told me that I was being too picky. But my point is that I have been doing very well for myself in the south, and that gives me a privilege to choose what I want to do in Hindi films. I think when you are not from a filmi family and when you do not have a godfather or someone producing films for you, your first film becomes everything for you. It becomes your audition tape to the world. If your first film doesn’t do well, then your second film becomes even more important, so I took my time to select ‘Housefull4’ for different reasons. I think the wait was worth it.”

This upcoming Farhad Samji directorial will feature Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Bobby Deol, Kriti Sanon and Kriti Kharbanda along with Pooja. The film will hit the screens on October 25.
