Pooja Ruparel on meeting Hrithik Roshan on the sets of ‘King Uncle’: I was like, ‘Wow, kya break dance karte hai.

Actress Pooja Ruparel, who played a significant role in Rakesh Roshan's iconic film ‘', reflected on her experiences during the film's production and shared fascinating stories involving Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff!

The actress took a walk down memory lane and recalled Hrithik Roshan, who used to work as an assistant director for the 1993 release. Pooja revealed that Hrithik Roshan did not receive any preferential treatment during the shoot of the movie, and he used to stay with other assistant directors in a separate hotel. “I must say, Rakesh ji really taught his son well,” Pooja told Bollywood Thikana. She also reminisced that Hrithik used to dance even then. She added that Hrithik was quiet, but he was an incredible dancer, and she once saw him dance on the sets. “I was like, ‘Wow, kya break dance karte hai,” she recalled.

Pooja Ruparel also spoke about Tiger Shroff, who was a toddler, and how Jackie Shroff would bring him to the film’s set.


Speaking about Tiger Shroff, she recalled that he was only two or three years old at the time. He was a tiny baby, learning his first words. She also recalled that Jackie Shroff used to make him learn funny words and take him to a room where his voice would echo and get him to speak those words.

Meanwhile, ‘King Uncle’ featured Jackie Shroff, Anu Aggarwal, Shah Rukh Khan, Nagma, Paresh Rawal, Sushmita Mukherjee, Pooja Ruparel, and Deven Verma in the lead roles. Rakesh Roshan’s directorial debut was a blockbuster and also emerged as a cult classic.
