Prakash Raj CONFIRMS being a part of Spirit starring Prabhas

Speculation about Prakash Raj’s involvement in Prabhas-starrer Spirit had been doing the rounds for some time. The buzz intensified after the film’s launch, where Raj’s name and distinctive voice featured prominently in the early promotional material. His commanding voiceover led many to believe that the National Award-winning actor would be seen in a significant role, possibly as a senior or authoritative figure in the narrative.

With the current reports, one can say that Prakash indeed has a meaty role to play in the film. The narrative took a turn when reports began circulating suggesting that Prakash Raj had exited the project. According to these reports, the actor was allegedly dropped from the highly anticipated Telugu action drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, which stars Prabhas alongside Triptii Dimri.




When Bombay Times reached out to Prakash Raj for clarification, the actor dismissed the rumours, stating, “These are just nonsensical speculations that I am not aware of.” When further asked whether he was indeed part of the film, Raj responded positively, putting the exit rumours to rest and confirming about the exciting role.

Meanwhile, the report claimed that the alleged fallout stemmed from creative differences and on-set friction between Prakash Raj and the filmmaking team. Sources suggested that disagreements over the script and the execution of a particular sequence escalated into what was described as a “heated disagreement.”



Spirit is expected to feature a gritty storyline, with Prabhas portraying a former police officer.
