Pranutan Bahl is gearing up to complete shooting for her second film, ‘

’, which also marks Aparshakti Khurana’s first film as a lead. The actress made her Bollywood debut last year in ‘

’ along with Zaheer Iqbal. In an earlier interview, Pranutan said that ‘Helmet’ was a fun, quirky comedy, that would instantly strike a chord with audiences. While a majority of the film had been shot before the nationwide lockdown was implemented in March, the team will soon shoot the remaining parts. While the actress spent the lockdown with her family in Mumbai, Aparshakti had travelled to Chandigarh along with his wife, to be with his parents, and brother Ayushmann Khurrana and his family.


Pranutan, who is actor Mohnish Bahl’s daughter, said that the film was very different from her debut film, which was more serious in nature. While the film was supposed to release this year, the pandemic has thrown all film releases in limbo. The film’s makers will soon announce the new release date.

During the lockdown, Pranutan regularly stayed connected with her fans via her Instagram page, where she would post several pictures and videos of what she was up to in the past couple of months. In the past, the actress has admitted that she would love to do a film with her father someday. She added that although she would be nervous to face the camera along with her dad, she would never miss an opportunity to work with him.
