. The
wedding
was apparently a very private affair with only the bride and groom's immediate family and close friends present.
While the 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' star preferred keeping her wedding a secretly guarded affair, it was actor Kabir Bedi who spilled the beans with his tweet that read, "HUGE CONGRATS my friend @realpreityzinta on your marriage to Gene in Los Angeles, City of Angels. Blessings!"

While the actress kept denying all claims that she would soon be walking down the aisle, pictures suggest otherwise. Preity's close friends, Sussanne Khan and Surily Goel were spotted holidaying in LA and while there, they also posted a lot of pictures on their Instagram account. This further confirmed the fact that Preity was indeed getting
married
in Los Angeles.
Interestingly, Kabir Bedi wasn't the only one to wish Preity on Twitter. Her friends for many years, Sushmita Sen and Farah Khan Ali too wished the dimpled actor on the social networking site and wished Preity a happy married life.
Reportedly, both Preity and Gene plan to auction their wedding pictures soon, the proceeds of which would be donated to Preity Zinta Foundation through which, Preity plans to utilise those proceeds for charity.
