With the pandemic easing very slightly in certain parts of the world, people have started stepping out a bit more for work and recreational activities.
Preity Zinta recently shared a post on her Instagram account, in which she revealed that she and her husband Gene Goodenough had stepped out for a meal after almost eight months. Accompanying a cute picture of the two was the caption, ‘I still cannot believe that the last time we ate at a restaurant was in the second week of March.
It’s been 8 months since. Who would have thought this would last so long! Cannot wait for life to get back to the normal we are used to 🤩 #patiparmeshwar #Throwback #Dinner #Nightout #Ting’
That was before LA once again went into a three-week lockdown. The actress has spent a majority of this year in Los Angeles along with her husband and their pets. She had gone to Dubai for the IPL, in which her cricket team participated. Preity was often seen cheering her team from the boundary lines.
Preity’s Instagram handle is full of interesting posts on how she spent the long lockdown months. From spending time with her pet dog Bruno, to exercising in her garden and even spending time gardening, the vivacious actress gave fans a glimpse into her life in LA.
Her post on gardening was accompanied with a caption, ‘Back to my ghar ki kheti. Now that Los Angeles is in a three-week lockdown, I'm loving getting back to gardening and being one with nature. It's my way of staying positive, appreciating the simpler things in life and connecting with the earth because when life gives you lemons, it's time to make lemonade and nimbo ka achaar. I'm sure mom will be very proud of me when she watches this video because she inspired me to get into gardening. Thank you, Ma. Love you. It's the best thing ever.’
