, in which he plays a reporter. Shraddha made her debut with Teen Patti (2010), while Siddhanth followed her in the industry with Shootout at Wadala (2007). Talking about his equation with the two, Priyaank said, “Shraddha is such an aajibai. I often call her that to tease her. She gives me that granny vibe; she is loving and warm.” When asked what advice his cousins had doled out when he decided to join films, he said, “I am the youngest among the three of us. Siddhanth bhaiyya is six years older to me and Shraddha is about two years older. They had so much to tell me. Shraddha, in fact, had told me that acting should be spontaneous and should be enjoyed. She also warned me that the profession can drain you, make you irritable and change you as a person. She told me to enjoy what I do and do what I enjoy. When I started shooting, they would send messages to encourage me and check on me. Shraddha is an inspiration for me because she takes care of everyone despite her busy schedules. And look at me! I have just done one film and I am all over the place. I missed wishing a friend on his birthday, which never happens.”
Shakti Kapoor, Priyaank’s maternal uncle, also had a word of advice for the young actor. Priyaank said, “He just told me one thing — surrender to the director and work with blinkers on.”
