Priyanka Chopra reveals daughter introduces herself as Malti Marie Moana: 'She insists it’s her name'

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is not just a global star, but also a loving mum who wears her heart on her sleeve when it comes to her daughter, Malti Marie. At the premiere of her new film ‘Heads of State’, Priyanka spoke openly about how her daughter has changed her life and revealed sweet little moments from their time together. From calling herself Moana to giving the Jonas Brothers a funny nickname, Malti is full of charm, and Priyanka can’t help but be smitten.

‘She was with me the whole time’
While speaking to E! News, the 'Baywatch' actress shared that Malti was right by her side while she shot ‘Heads of State’. The film took her to beautiful locations, but what made it truly special was her daughter’s presence.

“She was with me filming this whole movie,” she said. “We were on location in Provence, and while she was on set, she and her grandma would go to this bakery to get croissants and bring them home. She had the most amazing time while we were filming this movie.”

Little Malti also got used to the film set and even picked up some industry lingo. “She loved the set,” Priyanka smiled. “She called craft services ‘crafty’ just like the actors. It was so cute.”

In another fun interview on Good Morning America, the 'Fashion' actress opened up about Malti’s love for Disney characters. “She introduces herself as Malti Marie Moana Chopra Jonas. She insists she’s Moana. She insists it’s her name, like officially her name in school,” Priyanka shared, adding that Malti is both an “adrenaline junky” and a “girly girl.”


‘Donut Brothers’ and a love for Bruno Mars

On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, PeeCee gave fans more glimpses into Malti’s world. The little one has already developed her own music taste and is a fan of big names like Bruno Mars and Rosé. “Bruno Mars and Rosé’s ‘APT’ is a current favourite,” she said.

But when it comes to the Jonas Brothers—her dad Nick Jonas’ famous band—Malti has her own funny twist. “She doesn’t identify them, but she calls them the Donut Brothers,” the 'The White Tiger' actress said with a laugh. Priyanka’s love for Malti shines through in every word she speaks
