Purab Kohli Reflects on Career and Longing for Comedy Opportunities: There's a lot more there in me

Actor Purab Kohli feels his audience has not gotten their due from him. When asked if he feels he has gotten his due in the industry after working for nearly three decades, he replied, "I feel like I did get my due in the industry. I just feel like there's a lot more that is there in me and I wish I get the opportunity from producers and directors to showcase that to the audience. I feel the audience hasn't got their due from me yet. So there's a lot more that I have to give and I'm just waiting for the opportunity."

The actor has been part of multiple shows and movies, however, he wishes to do an out and out comedy. He mentioned, "Any character you play had comes with its own challenges and that's what makes it exciting for you to conquer those challenges. So I look forward to all the challenges and all the difficult characters that come my way. Something that I did a little bit recently is comedy and I think I'm longing to do an out -and -out comedy. I haven't done that. I don't think ever in my career. I've done funny roles but an out -and -out comedy I've never done. So, I'm really looking forward to someone offering me an out -and -out comedy film. I'd really like to do that.

Purab made his debut in films with Bas Yun Hi (2003). Since then he has been a part of multiple movies such as My Brother... Nikhil (2005), Rock On, Mission Mangal and more.
