Allu Arjun shared that his earliest dance inspirations came from two performers: Chiranjeevi and Michael Jackson. Growing up, he was mesmerized by Chiranjeevi’s effortless grace and strong screen presence, calling him a true dance icon. He also admitted to being one among the millions who idolize Michael Jackson, whose energy and rhythm deeply influenced his understanding of performance.


Yet, even with such towering international and regional figures shaping his passion, Allu Arjun finds something incredibly special in Bollywood’s very own Govinda. “Bollywood has some amazing dancers,” he said, “but Govindaji has a style that is completely his own.”

According to Allu Arjun, what makes Govinda truly exceptional is his ability to dance with his entire personality. “A lot of people can dance below their neck, but very few can dance above it,” he explained with admiration. “Govindaji is one of the few who can dance above his neck, and I really love that about him.”
