One would never be able to forget the iconic roles played by the late actor Irrfan Khan and his demise is truly a loss to Indian cinema. Recently the actress Radhikka Madan recalled the legendary actor’s words after the wrap-up of the film ‘Angrezi Medium’.

Talking to Shubhankar Mishra in an interview, the actress Radhikka Madan took a walk down memory lane where she reminisced the last words told by Irrfan Khan to her after the wrap-up of the film ‘Angrezi Medium’.

She said that during the last leg shoot of ‘Angrezi Medium’ which was happening in London, Radhikka requested Irrfan for a selfie click and the ‘Life of Pi’ actor said her, “Are aapko hamesha mere saath yaad kara jaaega. (You will be known with me.)”

With these words from Irrfan Khan, Radhikka understood that things were not well and also she was informed that Irrfan’s health condition was deteriorating. Radhikka also said that it was the first time she saw Irrfan’s eyes going blank and tired, during their last shot together.

The ‘Sarfira’ actress further said Irrfan Khan was seen losing his energy while they shot their last scene together for ‘Angrezi Medium’. He was also seen as mentally and emotionally exhausted.

Directed by Homi Adajania, ‘Angrezi Medium’ had Irrfan Khan in the lead role as the character named Champak Ghasiteram Bansal and Radhikka Madan played a character named Taarika Bansal. The film revolves around Champak’s hilarious incidents to fulfill the dream of his daughter of going to London for further studies.
