Raj Babbar and son Prateik Babbar pay tribute to Smita Patil on her 32nd death anniversary

Smita Patil was one of the finest actors of Hindi cinema and did more than 80 films including Marathi during her career. She made her Bollywood debut with Shyam Benegal’s ‘Charandas Chor’ and marked irreplaceable role in the film.
Needless to say, Smita left the world within two weeks of giving birth to son Prateik due to childbirth complications. Today marks the 32^nd death anniversary of the legend, and her husband Raj Babbar and son Prateik Babbar shared a picture and heartfelt tribute.
Raj Babbar posted a picture of Smita Patil on Twitter and wrote, ‘Nature gave you such a short span, yet you lived such a fulfilling life. Your journey may have finished but the memories get enriched every single day. Remembering Smita. It's been 32 years that you left for another world this day. To absorb this, is still difficult’.

At the same time, her son, Prateik Babbar shared an old picture and captioned, ‘32 years since she left us. my heart skips a beat every time I think of her.. my heart is restless.. yet perfectly content..my veins feel heavy. I can feel my blood..it feels so warm..she takes me in..she takes my breath...she is my breath.. she is my air.. she is my soul.. she is me. rest in power. my beautiful’.
