Businessman Raj Kundra
's 14-day judicial custody ends today. The husband of Bollywood actress
Shilpa Shetty, who was arrested and taken into custody on July 19 in a case related to the alleged creation and publishing of pornographic films, will reportedly be presented before Mumbai Sessions Court to put forth his bail plea.
According to reports on online news portals, the
Mumbai Police is expected to produce
Sherlyn Chopra's statement against the businessman in court, which may hinder his bail plea.
The property cell of the
Mumbai Crime Branch
summoned Sherlyn for questioning last Friday, in connection to the pornography case. After nearly 8 hours of questioning, the actress was photographed on her way out of the police station.
Speaking to the media about the purpose of the interrogation, Chopra said, "They asked me about my agreement with Armsprime and what the terms and conditions of the contract were. They even asked about how many videos I shot with them and who all were a part of the content production."
The actress went on to state that she was also questioned about her involvement with Kundra and other associates. She said, "They also asked,
'Raj Kundra k sath mere kaise sambandh the' and what about the other companies owned by him, do you have any information about them?"
The actress went on to clarify that this case was in no way a vendetta game, but an effort to bust the pornography racket.
She said, "The property cell officers told me that this is not a vendetta against any person but we want to bust this pornography racket."
Kundra, who was arrested on 19 July, was first put on police remand till 27 July, while the Esplanade Court later remanded him to 14 days of judicial custody. Along with him, his IT head

's bail plea will also be heard today.
The court had also sought a response from the Mumbai Police on the bail plea. It is alleged that the police will use Chopra's recorded statement, her business documents and other details in court today.
The Bombay High Court on Saturday rejected the businessman's plea, challenging his arrest and subsequent remand orders. "The petitioners, who are now in judicial custody, did not deserve any relief at this point", said Justice A S Gadkari in the ruling.
The HC took note of a statement made on oath by the investigating officer that Kundra and Thorpe began to delete messages and other evidence from their mobile phones when a police team went to their office.
