Rajeev Khandelwal will once again be back on the big screen with the movie 'Fever'. Much like his previous films, his latest offering also happens to be a suspense thriller. Though the actor says he doesn't choose a film of only one particular genre consciously, it certainly gives him the opportunity to show more in terms of performance. 'Working in such movies offers an actor more in terms of performance. Heavy dialogues are not the prime requirement to depict the emotions in these films. My first film 'Aamir' hardly had any dialogues but the audience could understand the actor's thought process. It is more challenging to prove yourself as a performer in such a film,' he says.

The actor adds that the script of 'Fever' electrified him and that is what made him choose the film. He says, 'If the script doesn't let you sleep and tempts you to call the director to tell him that you really want to do the film, it deserves your attention and time. Fever's script actually did all of it. It gave me several sleepless nights.' He jokes, 'I actually got fever after reading this script.'

Rajeev feels that the medium matters less and audiences' appreciation matters more. 'For an artist every platform to exhibit the skill is equally worthy. I was working in television for years when 'Aamir' was offered. I agreed since I found the plot really captivating. This is how it works for me,' he says.

He also acted in an Indo-Australian movie, which is an experimental film meant for a film festival only.
