Ishaan Khatter's father, Rajesh Khattar, recently spoke about the rumours linking his son to Chandni Bainz. He also shared his thoughts on Ishaan's upcoming international debut in The Perfect Couple.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Rajesh explained that Ishaan understands the attention that comes with being an actor, especially when it comes to promoting his work. However, he also believes that everyone deserves privacy in their personal life and it’s perfectly okay for someone to keep it private.

The senior actor humorously responded to the link-up rumors surrounding his son, Ishaan Khatter, saying that it’s natural for a 28-year-old to be linked with people, and such rumors won’t be a concern when he’s 50. He added that it’s a common story in many households, so there’s nothing unusual about it.



When asked about discussing dating rumors or personal life plans with his son, Ishaan, Rajesh Khattar responded like any parent would. He mentioned that he does ask Ishaan about his plans, highlighting how the parent-child relationship evolves over time.

He added that while he understands the curiosity people have, he believes that when the time is right, the details will be shared.

The proud father also shared his excitement about Ishaan's international debut with The Perfect Couple, calling it a "euphoric moment" when he first heard the news. He expressed confidence in his son's ability to make great choices, highlighting how Ishaan is constantly refining his craft. Khattar added that Ishaan is very sure of the roles he wants to take, and was not concerned about not being the lead in the international show.



He went on to share that he received messages from a couple of big Bollywood heroes, praising Ishaan's performance. He mentioned how his son worked comfortably with Hollywood stars like Nicole Kidman, which is usually nerve-wracking for anyone. The way Ishaan blended in so well made it feel like he was not an outsider, and this positive feedback came from the industry as well.

Rajesh Khattar proudly praised his son for his diverse body of work, highlighting how Ishaan never repeats himself. He emphasized that Ishaan is very clear about wanting to be recognised for his work, not for anything unnecessary, showcasing his dedication and focus on his craft.
