Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha’s film renamed as ‘Chhalaang’; to release on 31st January next year

The ‘Newton’ fame Rajkummar Rao and ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ star Nushrat Bharucha will soon be seen sharing the screen space in one of Hansal Mehta directorial. The movie has been the talk of the town right from the word go, and now again it has turned heads as the title of the same has been changed. The movie which was earlier named as ‘Turram Khan’ has been now renamed as ‘Chhalaang’.

Rajkummar Rao himself took to his social media handle to share this news. And along with the new name, the actor updated on the release date. The movie will be making it to the theatres on January 31st 2020.

Here’s Rajkummar’s tweet that reads, “Main aur Nushrat Ab Maarenge Chhalaang! Our next film directed by @mehtahansal sir is now named “Chhalaang”. See you in theatres on 31st Jan, 2020!”


‘Chhalaang’ is being collaboratively produced by Ajay Devgn, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg. This movie marks the fifth film of actor Rajkummar Rao and director Hansal Mehta together post ‘Shahid’, ‘City Lights’, ‘Aligarh’ and ‘Omerta’. The shoot of the same went on the floors in November.
