Rajkummar Rao's 'Made In China', Taapsee Pannu-Bhumi Pednekar's 'Saand Ki Aankh' leaked online by Tamil Rockers

Diwali box office releases - Rajkummar Rao starrer 'Made In China' and Taapsee Pannu-Bhumi Pednekar starrer 'Saand Ki Aankh' has opened to a slow start. In a major setback, both films are the latest to fall prey to online piracy websites. The movies have been leaked online and again this time the infamous Tamilrockers are reportedly behind the leak.
This comes after the notorious piracy group leaked Thalapathy Vijay's Tamil sports action film 'Bigil' online yesterday, only hours after its release.
'Made In China' and 'Saadh Ki Aankh' opened to low box office collection on its first day. The Rajkummar Rao starrer could only collect a total of Rs 1 crore while the Taapsee-Bhumi starrer garnered a little over Rs 50 lakh. Both films remained largely overshadowed by Akshay Kumar's 'Housefull 4.'
Major Bollywood, as well as regional releases, are being leaked online within the first day of release, eating up a major chunk of revenue. The illegal practice continues even after repeated orders from the judiciary and efforts made by the government and the media industry to curtail piracy.
