Rajpal Yadav says there is 'no nepotism' in the entertainment industry; shares, "Agar hota toh Shah Rukh Khan, Paresh Rawal... kaise hote?"

Rajpal Yadav, the skilful actor of Bollywood, offered a viewpoint on the most debated topic of the entertainment industry - nepotism. In the array of opinions, Yadav stated that nepotism doesn’t exist when it comes to the success of the actor.In an interview with ANI, the 54-year-old actor expressed that the connections would help you achieve the initial break in the industry, but the success entirely depends on the skills of the actor and how the audience responds.Rajpal Yadav said, “There is no nepotism. I want to speak very honestly. Nepotism agar hota to Shah Rukh Khan sahab kaise hote, Rajpal Yadav kaise hote, Paresh Rawal kaise hote, Anupam Kher sahab kaise hote, Akshay Kumar sahab kaise hote, Johny Lever sahab kaise hote, Sanjeev Kumar sahab kaise hote, Rajesh Khanna sahab kaise hote, Dharmendra sahab kaise hote? (If there was nepotism, how would there be Shah Rukh Khan, Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal, Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, Johny Lever, Sanjeev Kumar, Rajesh Khanna and Dharmendra?)"The actor further revealed that nobody in his family asked him to enter the film industry or join the theatre; it was his idea. “I told my kids also...ki koi bhi khel mein aur cinema mein koi kisi ka jeewan nahi bana sakta (In film and sports, nobody can make your life),” he added.Moreover, Yadav emphasised that if you think you are capable enough, only then can you achieve. “Fir aap karo nahi to mai dhakka de sakta hu par dhakke ke baad jo patkhani khaoge usko mai bhi nahi bacha sakta..(I can give a push, but the reversal you will face later, I can't prevent that),” the 'Bhool Bhulaiya' star continued. Furthering this theory, Rajpal said that if you are a sports player, your kid will get a chance to play. If you are a person who is working in the film or television industry, then your kid would know what his father does, and would probably be a filmmaker. However, the success does not depend on it. He stated that only the almighty and the audience can decide that, expressing that nepotism does not exist.
