Rakesh Bedi gives witty response to Rs 1 crore ‘Dhurandhar 2’ bonus rumors: 'Mere account mein toh abhi tak nahin aaya hai'

Rakesh Bedi has laughed off rumours that he received a Rs 1 crore bonus after ‘Dhurandhar 2’ was a success. The actor, who caught viewers’ attention with his role as politician Jameel Jamali, reacted lightheartedly and clarified that no such money has been deposited in his account.As reported by NDTV, Rakesh talked about the speculation and said, "Kayi log mujhe ye bata rahe hain ki mujhe production house se Dhurandhar ke baad Rs 1 crore mila hai. Toh bhaiya woh kahan pada hai, kiske ghar mein rakha hai, kiski jeb mein hai, mujhe bata do yaar kahan kisi ne gaad ke rakha hai. Bata do taaki main jaake le loon kyunki mere account mein toh abhi tak nahin aaya hai.”(There are reports that I have received Rs 1 crore from the production house after Dhurandhar's success. Please tell me where is that money? Who has it? Who has pocketed it? Please tell me who has buried it where so that I can go and get it because it's not in my account yet)Bedi said there is no sign of any such money in his account. Rakesh added that if the amount ever gets credited, he may or may not speak about it, but at the moment, he hasn’t received anything. He also joked that if someone can help him get the money, they should inform him.‘Dhurandhar 2’, which hit theatres on March 19, 2026, is a sequel to the 2025 blockbuster. The film continues the story of an undercover Indian intelligence officer, portrayed by Ranveer Singh, who enters criminal and political circles in Karachi to foil terror plots against India.
