Rakul Preet Singh roped in Arpita Mehta for her Mehndi outfit- Exclusive

After years of dating, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani tied the knot on 21st February on the sandy beaches of Goa. The wedding was spread over a couple of days, which included a host of other functions like haldi, sangeet and cocktail. On Sunday, Rakul shared photos of her sangeet function, for which she had roped in Falguni Peacock for her attire, sharing the pictures she wrote , “ A dreamy night Thnkyouuuu @falgunipeacock for creating the most magical outfit for a magical night felt like a star shining bright ”
And now, ETimes has exclusively learnt that while Tarun Tahiliani had designed her outlook for the wedding and Falguni Peacock did the sangeet, , Rakul had roped in Arpita Mehta to specifically design her Mehndi look.For her Mehendi ceremony, Rakul opted for a strappy orange and pink choli, paired with a matching lehenga. Her attire was adorned with floral motifs and gold detailing. She completed her look with shoulder grazing pearl earrings. Rakul Preet Singh also used flowers as hair accessories and looked every inch a stunning bride-to-be!. In the wedding video that was released by the couple a few days after the wedding, one can get a glimpse of the mehendi celebrations, where Rakul can be seen dancing with Jackky while she had mehendi applied to her hands.
Arpita Mehta is one of the leading designers in the industry, and has been close friends with Rakul for a very long time. In fact, not only was she present at the wedding, she had designed the saree Ananya Panday wore for Rakul’s wedding. Arpita has been a favourite designer for some of the biggest names in the industry, right from Shilpa Shetty Kundra to Samantha Ruth Prabhu to Pooja Hegde to Kriti Sanon to Shruti Haasan.
