Rakul Preet Singh swears by ghee coffee and early dinners; Her diet plan is a magic mantra for fitness - Deets Inside
In a world where diet plans like Keto and more have spoiled everyone with choice and left them confused about what to follow and what not, Rakul Preet Singh follows simple and clean eating. The actress swears by her ghee coffee and early dinners, which have worked like magic.
“Depending on when I finish my workout, I either have a protein smoothie or I do a heavy breakfast, which would be eggs with poha or with the sprouts cheela,” she added.
Take cues from Rakul’s diet plan; her lunch is either rice or jawaar roti with sabzi and protein (either fish or chicken). Then she enjoys a snack at 4:35 pm. “I like to have protein chia pudding. Then I will have some fruit and yogurt or some peanut butter toast, if I'm still on a shoot, or some nuts,” shared the actress.
Coming to dinner, the trick is in the timing. “I try to finish my dinner by seven, and that's largely again some form of carb, but lesser carb than in the afternoon, and protein and sabzi.”
And this is the diet discipline that helps the actress maintain her weight and a picture-perfect physique.
The magic of Ghee coffee
While speaking to Ranveer Allahabadia, Rakul shared what constitutes her healthy diet. She said she starts her day with hot water, followed by cinnamon water or haldi water. Thereafter, she enjoys “five soaked almonds and one soaked walnut, and I have my ghee coffee.”“Depending on when I finish my workout, I either have a protein smoothie or I do a heavy breakfast, which would be eggs with poha or with the sprouts cheela,” she added.
Why has ghee coffee taken over the internet?
Ghee coffee is all the rage among fitness enthusiasts, and it has science behind it. Consuming ghee coffee regularly for three months has metabolic health benefits. Nutritionist and diabetes specialist Kanikka Malhotra, in an interaction with the Indian Express, said that ghee is rich in beneficial fatty acids like conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which may help in cutting down fat and support healthy weight management.Proper lunch and early dinner
A lot of people have this misconception that one needs to starve themselves to lose weight. On the contrary, one only needs to eat right, in the right proportions and right time to manage weight.Take cues from Rakul’s diet plan; her lunch is either rice or jawaar roti with sabzi and protein (either fish or chicken).
