Rakul Preet Singh's brother Aman Preet Singh arrested in connection to a drugs case - reports

Actress Rakul Preet Singh's brother Aman Preet Singh has been arrested by Hyderabad police. As per the latest report by Hindustan Times, the 'Ramrajya' actor was arrested in connection to a drugs case after a joint operation done by the Narcotics Bureau and Rajendra Nagar SOT Police under Cyberabad Police's jurisdiction.


On Monday, the Hyderabad police confirmed Aman's arrest during a press conference. While five individuals were arrested for drug peddling, Aman was among the 13 people arrested for drug consumption and tested positive for cocaine use. The police stated that he will be produced before a court soon.

A police official stated at the press conference that further investigation is needed to determine Aman's connections. They need to establish when his association with the accused, which includes some Indians and Nigerians, began. Some of the accused are repeat offenders, and it is believed that Aman's involvement might span a year and a half.



The officials confirmed that Aman tested positive for cocaine use and is an actor, though it is unclear whether he is associated with Tollywood or another industry.

Meanwhile, the police have seized 199 grams of cocaine, 2 passports, 2 bikes and 10 cell phones in connection to the case. The five accused drug peddlers are identified as Onuoha Blessing, Azeez Nohaam Adeshola, Alla Satya Venkata Gowtham, Sanaboina Varun Kumar and Mohd Mahaboob Shareef.

Earlier, Rakul was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with an alleged money laundering matter related to a drugs case. When asked about it, the police stated, "She has nothing to do with this case. We are not investigating her, and her name needn't be dragged in unnecessarily. Therefore, we will not be commenting on it."
