Ram Charan teams up with Sham Kaushal for 'Peddi'

After the debacle of Game Changer Ram Charan has invested all his energies in his upcoming film Peddi directed byBuchi Babu Sana. The maker recently released the first song of the film titled ‘Chikiri Chikiri’ and the song in no time turned out to be a viral sensation crossing more than 110 million views in no time, many reels are made by fans trying to emulate the hook step performed by Ram Charan.

While the song continues to dominate the internet, the team has now shifted gears into an important phase of the shoot. A new schedule has kicked off at a massive, specially constructed set at the Aluminium Factory in Hyderabad as per a report in Gulte. Ram Charan, Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, and several key cast members have already joined the schedule, signalling that the team is working on a crucial and high-impact segment of the film.


The highlight of this schedule is a breathtaking stunt sequence currently being filmed under the supervision of renowned Bollywood action director Sham Kaushal father of Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal and Sunny Kaushal and father-in-law to Katrina Kaif. . Kaushal Sr is known for his exceptional work in films like Dangal, Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani, URI, and Gangs of Wasseypur, Sham Kaushal brings unmatched experience and scale to action design. Also joining him is stunt master Navakanth, ensuring the action choreography blends raw intensity with visual spectacle.

The film is slated to release on March 27, 2026 and also features Janhvi Kapoor as the leading actress, the film marks her second film in the south industry after NTR Jr’s Devara Part 1. . The music of the film has been composed by A R Rahman who is currently enjoying the success with his latest release Tere Ishk Mein with Aanand L Rai, Dhanush and Kriti Sanon.
