When discussing his role in "Animal," Ranbir acknowledged its dark nature and the physical transformation he underwent for the character, stating, "For Animal, I had shaved my hair! For the last scene, I had done that. So now I am growing my hair. Since I am not working on any film, I am eating a lot, and not following any diet. I have changed my entire lifestyle. I have quit smoking, so I am eating a lot of chocolates."

The actor also praised director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's originality as a filmmaker. While stating that 'Animal' is his 'darkest project yet', he explained, "This is the darkest film I have done because I am not playing any psycho killer in it. It is just the character, his mind, and the way he operates. His psyche is very dark."

He further added, "It is not somebody who I am or can relate to. It was very interesting for me to play him on screen because it was a very new, original character. I am glad I collaborated with Sandeep on this because I got a lot from him, about heroism, about characters, and about a grey part like this."

'Animal', also starring Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Rashmika Mandanna, is set to hit cinemas on December 1, promising a unique and intense cinematic experience for audiences.

As of now, I have been hearing a lot of subjects but nothing (is locked)."

The dad of one, also mentioned another project he's considering, the Kishore Kumar biopic directed by Anurag Basu, which has been in development for several years. Ranbir expressed his intent to read the script by the end of the month but noted that he hasn't found a project he truly resonates with yet.
