Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal' co-star Saurabh Sachdeva gives a major update on 'Animal Park'; see inside

Actor Saurabh Sachdeva, who is gearing up for the release of the much-awaited web series 'Bad Cop', has confirmed his return to his role as Abid ul Haque in the sequel to Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film 'Animal'.

In an interview with News 18, Saurabh Sachdeva mentioned that the production of Ranbir Kapoor's 'Animal Park' might face delays because the actor is currently occupied with 'Ramayana'.

Saurabh stated that he hadn't discussed the matter with the production or director, quoting Sandeep Reddy Vanga as saying,'Abhi toh time hai, I’m making the other film (Prabhas’ Spirit). "There's still time; I'm currently working on another film (Prabhas' Spirit). And Ranbir is committed to the Ramayana, so it will take a lot of time."

Saurabh also expressed uncertainty about the release timeline, suggesting it could be in 2026 or 2027. He admitted to not knowing the story yet, whether it's been written or if there's a rough structure in place.

Meanwhile, Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film 'Animal' made a significant impact on the global box office. It starred Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, Triptii Dimri, and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles.

On the other hand, Saurabh will be next seen in 'Bad Cop', slated for release on June 21. In the series, Saurabh portrays the character of a murder investigator who is tasked with solving the murder of a close friend. It stars Anurag Kashyap, Gulshan Devaiah, Harleen Sethi, and Aishwarya Sushmita in pivotal roles.
