ETimes was the first to inform, on April 30, 2021, that
Randhir Kapoor has shifted to a new house in Bandra, closer to where his wife
Babita
and daughters
Karisma
and
Kareena
stay. We spoke to him a few minutes ago about the move. Excerpts from the chat:
How is your health now post COVID? Hope you are doing absolutely fine...Yes, I am perfectly alright.
Congratulations on your new house. You had told ETimes that you would be shifting soon and you made it happen...Yes, frankly it took two years for it to get ready. I shifted today.
So, how are you feeling?I am feeling better here. I had started feeling more lonely, of late.

Especially after your brother Rajiv
passed away?
Yes.
And what's happening to the Chembur house? Have you sold it?(Laughs) No, hamari haalat itni bhi buri nahi hain (we are not in dire straits). It stays as it was. It was just that it was a very big house and I was all alone.
And here? Here, my family can drop in frequently like they did a few hours back; there was a puja today. They will continue to do so in the future. Even my friends are close by in Khar and Bandra.
How big is this new house of yours?3,000 sq feet. It's relatively cosy.
Are you missing the Chembur one?Well, some memories made there are unforgettable. I spent 50 years of my life there.
