Rani Mukerji urges everyone to stand united against cybercrimes: 'It is our collective responsibility'
Rani Mukerji recently opened up about the importance of cybersecurity, especially in the times of artificial intelligence, massive use of social media platforms, and more. On the occasion of Cyber Awareness Month 2025 at Maharashtra Police Headquarters in Mumbai.
Mukerji added, "In fact, today, I have rushed here from the shooting of 'Mardaani 3', so it all feels very surreal right now. This initiative taken by the Maharashtra Police is applaudable."
Mukerji expressed that real protection starts when the families know how to stay safe and where to approach for help. She thanked Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, ACS Iqbal Singh Chahal, and DGP Rashmi Shukla for prioritizing and taking up the issue of cyber security.
Mukerji went on to urge, "Let us pledge today to stay alert, speak up, and stand together for a safer digital world."

According to an ANI report, Rani shared that she is "humbled and honored" to be part of the inauguration ceremony of Cyber Awareness Month. During the event, the 'Mardaani' actress also delved into the rise of cyber crimes. She said, "Cybercrimes—especially those against women and children—are silently rising within our homes.
