Ranveer revealed how the controversy hit his mother hard, saying, “One day, publicly, I want to talk about everything that happened. It is not the right time. But I can say that my mother is very hurt and tense. She got physically attacked on one of the days. I am not making this up. This has actually happened and she has been traumatised. She is also a very strong lady." To this, Farah added, “Strong people get affected the most when it happens to their children."
