Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar ‘Don 3’ dispute: CINTAA President Poonam Dhillon glad matter has been 'resolved in a positive manner'
The legal dispute around 'Don 3', involving Ranveer Singh, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, has been hitting headlines with various film bodies sharing their take on the matter. With both parties now taking the legal route, Cine & TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) President Poonam Dhillon said she welcomed the recent developments.
Sharing her thoughts about the actor allegedly walking out of the project, she said, "As an actor, he has the right to select his work and it is between him and the producer how they handle the matter. He's responsible and committed to his work, and we have seen his body of work."
She insisted that there is no animosity between Ranveer and filmmaker Farhan. “He told me they had been interacting with Excel Entertainment and how close and fond he is of Farhan and the Excel team. There's no animosity from his side,” Dhillon said.
"We also requested them not to do this, please remove the ban. This is our IMPPA matter, the Producers' Association's matter, and we will sort it out. We have sorted out very big cases. So, they understood this and said that your letter is absolutely right, we will definitely talk to our team about it and try to withdraw it. So, they held a press conference and withdrew it," he said.
