Ranvir Shorey defends non-vegetarian animal lovers called 'hypocrites' after they question Supreme Court's stray dog order: 'Do you treat…'
The Supreme Court has passed an order directing that all stray dogs in Delhi-NCR should be caught within eight weeks and kept in special shelters. The court also said the captured dogs would not be released back on the streets. The move came in response to increasing cases of dog attacks, with the bench warning that anyone blocking the captures could face contempt of court. A helpline will also be launched so dog bite cases can be reported and the dogs caught within four hours.
After this decision, many celebs have reacted and condemned this decision. Meanwhile, the internet is filled with users slamming these celebs and calling them hypocrites as most of them are non vegetarian. Users argued that these celebs who kill other animals like chicken or fish should not just show empathy for dogs. Amidst these debates on the internet, Ranvir Shorey has now defended non vegetarians. The actor didn't hold himself back and he wrote, "Dear rabid vegetarians attacking non-vegetarians and calling them ‘hypocrites’ for being ‘animal lovers’, do you treat all plants the same? Do you eat all plants? Do you treat all people the same? Do you treat every man like your father? Don’t lose your common sense and intelligence on your moral high horse!”
He added further, "Non-vegetarianism in humans is supported by everything from history to science. As is keeping pets. Please don’t mix them up.If you can tell the difference between your mouth and your foot, this should be simple to understand. ♂️"
Netizens reacted to Ranvir. One person tried to take a dig at him, commenting, “Now you are loosing intelligence and control for sure.” Ranvir quickly clapped back, “As expected, morons who can’t even discern between ‘loose’ & ‘lose’ have started barking in my replies. Enjoy reading the virtue signalling idiocy on my TL for the next few days. I know I will.”

No one wants to kill dogs, or treat them in an inhumane manner, but all the celebrities who are opposing the SC decision travel in their cars & SUV's they do not encounter or are chased by these stray dogs on a daily basis. Common citizens are, hence they are at risk. School going children, senior citizens have been victims. The celebrities have dog walkers and all support staff to attend to their pets. But the common citizen who walks on the road are the one attacked by these pack of dogs, small. kids have lost their life, senior citizens have been seriously injured, it's all good to make lofty statements, once the dog bites, none of these celebrities come forward to help the victim, they have to suffer in isolation, and the psychological scar remains for a lifetime.
