The actress revealed that her director Sukumar had initially hinted at a significant arc for her character, Srivalli, in the sequel. However, details of the monologue were unveiled to her only during the filming of the intense Jaathara sequence, which spans 20-21 minutes of the film. The sequence took nearly 3-4 months to shoot, and Rashmika recalled how Sukumar, known for his spontaneous storytelling approach, crafted her emotionally charged lines on set.

“When it was time for the scene, we were figuring out the lines as we went by, and suddenly, I had 3-4 pages of just me speaking,” she said. As an actor who thrives on interaction, Rashmika admitted that delivering the lengthy monologue without any back-and-forth dialogue was a challenge.

The scene captures Srivalli’s emotional outburst towards her brother-in-law, who has antagonized her since the first installment. It also intertwines with other plot elements, including her struggles with her mother-in-law and her journey toward embracing her pregnancy. Rashmika shared, “This moment was about Srivalli breaking free and standing up for herself and 'Pushpa'. It was emotional, raw, and empowering.”
