Cabaret girl Richa Chadha has been living it up in

Hollywood

for the last 20 days, as she films

Tabraz Noorani

's Love Sonia, an international production on sex trafficking set for a 2017 release. And morning jogs, caffeine-fuelled work schedules, shopping sprees and evenings by the beach have been the high points of the 29-year-old's stay at Sunset Boulevard. "Ah! The place in Mumbai that comes closest to this is Bandstand," she gushes to Mirror from California.


The actress, last seen as Sarabjit Singh's wife in the Omung Kumar biopic, has also been enjoying bumping into commoners cosplaying as Spiderman, the Hulk, and even a

Johnny Depplookalike

(right). "They're just actors who hang around the walk of fame, where all the stars have their names embossed in a star on the pavement. I really enjoyed clicking pictures with them because they are so warm," smiled Richa, who recently turned vegan and adds that she indulged in lime pie, a glutenfree dessert that she's sure she'll crave for when she's back in the bay. Is she missing home, already? "I've been away for too long. I want to get back soon so I'm not planning any more trips for now," she confesses.

has been involved in efforts to raise funds for the cause, joining hands with

KETTO

, a crowd-funding digital platform run by actor-friend Kunal Kapoor to help rehabilitate rescued girls. Richa has decided to be the voice of the campaign and raise money for an NGO, Purnata, meant for a shelter home in suburban Mumbai where up to 15 such girls are given various forms of training including dance, vocational training and other activities. The money will help the

pay off rent for 24 months, which is to the tune of Rs 12 lakh.
