Ending their 14 years of marriage, Isha Koppikar and Rohit Narang (Timmy), have parted ways. The Bollywood actress and her restauranteur husband’s divorce came through last month.
Long ago, Isha had moved out of her matrimonial home with her nine-year-old daughter, Rianna. When ETimes reached out to Rohit Narag, he confirmed, “Isha and myself have parted amicably. It is a very difficult time for us. Please do respect our privacy.” While Isha did not respond to our message, her lawyer Mrunalini Deshmukh responded to ETimes saying, “No comments.”
Revealing details about the separation, a source had told BT, “The couple parted ways due to compatibility issues, which cropped up a while ago. They tried every bit to save the marriage but didn’t succeed. Isha has moved out of the house and is living separately with their daughter.”
Isha and Timmy Narang crossed paths at a gym and were friends for three years before they started dating. The couple got hitched in November 2009 and welcomed their first child, daughter Rianna in July 2014. Isha shot to fame with her performance in the hit song ‘Kallas; from ‘Company’ (2002) and went on to feature in films like ‘Darna Mana Hai’, ‘Krishna Cottage’, ‘Hum Tum’ and ‘Kyaa Kool Hai Hum’ to name a few.
