Rohit Shetty took to social media account to wish his "big brother."
He also gave fans a glimpse into their decades-long bond through a specially compiled video.
Ajay Devgn, born on April 2, 1969, turns 57 in 2026.
Rohit Shetty's social media post featured a video split into two parts, transitioning from their early days at work together to the recent tomes.
The video traced their journey from the early days of their careers to their present-day blockbuster collaborations.
The first part of the video takes viewers back to the sets of Raju Chacha that released in 2000, where a young Rohit Shetty, then working as an assistant director on the movie, is seen explaining a scene to Ajay Devgn, who essayed the role of the lead in the movie.
The film also starred Kajol and Rishi Kapoor.
The second half of the video fast-forwards to the present times, featuring candid clips of Rohit and Ajay in conversation on the sets of their popular collaborations, including the Singham franchise, Sooryavanshi, where Ajay had a cameo, Golmaal series, and others.
Rohit captioned the post as, "From the 90s hustle to today. Less words, more action. Happy birthday big brother."
Meanwhile, Bollywood star Jackie Shroff also extended birthday wishes to Ajay Devgn.
He shared a stylish picture of the birthday boy dressed in a sharp all-black outfit.
Along with the picture Jackie wrote, "#HappyBirthday," further adding a heart emoticon.
Talking about Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn's association, it spans over three decade.
From Golmaal franchise to Singham, their collaborations have consistently delivered box office hits and garnered audience's love.
Their filmography together includes projects like Golmaal, Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, Golmaal Again, Singham, Singham Returns.
Ajay also had a cameo in Ranveer Singh starrer Simba, among others.
The duo is now all set to reunite for the much-anticipated Golmaal 5, which will see the return of familiar faces like Shreyas Talpade, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu and Sharman Joshi, who was part of the first Golmaal film that released in 2006.
