'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' pays a tribute to the Master Blaster

Fans of Sachin Tendulkar now have enough reason to rejoice as the cricketer's meteoric rise to success has been captured on celluloid. The biopic, titled 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams,' is a tribute to the legend's extraordinary journey and will also give us a sneak peek of his childhood and early days when he started playing for Mumbai and later for India.

The interesting aspect about this film is that it not only shows him as one of the world's greatest batsmen but also as a multi-faceted human being. Helmed by London-based award-winning writer and director James Erskine, it promises to be a spectacular treat for the sportstar's fans as it will depict various incidents from his personal and professional life and capture his career's glorious years for future generations.

Cricketers from across the world and personalities from different walks of life have shared their experiences and anecdotes on him. Oscar winner AR Rahman will compose the film's music. The whole team is very excited with the music maestro coming on board, says Ravi Bhagchandka who is producing 'Sachin: A Billion Dreams,' under his banner 200 Not Out, along with Shrikant Bhasi of Carnival Motion Pictures.
